The Patient Education section of our website is designed to provide information to patients and their families regarding urological diseases and conditions. Because these conditions may be accompanied by social discomfort or embarrassment, we emphasize sensitivity and discretion when dealing with all of our patients’ concerns.
We ask all of our patients to read the articles featured on our site to help them understand the condition that they have along with any tests and procedures that may occur during the treatment of their ailment. The articles listed in this section are shortened versions of a more detailed article within our Patient Literacy Center. Each of our patients has access to create a personalized profile within our website, so that they may read the complete patient health literacy articles as well as read information about wellness programs, support groups, suggested readings and much more.
